The Cima Grande (the one in the middle) is 2,999 metres high and boasts panoramic views like almost no other. For experienced mountain climbers it is an ideal destination. Of course a mountain guide can be booked to help you climb it. For those who prefer things a bit more leisurely, there is the 9 km-long circular trail around the Tre Cime di Lavaredo as well as the hike to the mountain refuges. These tours are for fairly experienced hikers with moderate fitness and are well worth setting aside a day to explore. The mountain refuges like the Auronzo Hut, Lavaredo Hut, Büllelejoch Hut, Zsigmondy Hut and the Fischleinboden Hut all provide refreshments.

If you prefer to cycle or travel by motorbike, then you can enjoy an incomparable view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo on a round trip by mountain bike, e-bike or motorcycle. In winter you can go on a snowshoe walk or ski tour and, of course, spend an eventful few days in the eponymous, multi-award-winning ski resort.
