Cross-country skiing in Prags is one of the most beautiful winter sports experiences: In the village of Prags alone, there are four different cross-country trails, one of which goes directly past our Hotel Brückele and leads you to wonderful Lago di Braies/Pragser Wildsee. One of the cross-country trails extends to Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese – located only six kilometres from our hotel – where cross-country skiing becomes a panoramic delight. Fantastic views of Dolomite peaks such as the Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo/Hohe Gaisl, the Picco di Vallandro/Dürrstein, and the Monte Cristallo make cross-country skiing in Prags truly unforgettable. The Kameriotwiesen and Schmieden round courses are rather easy, but their routes and mountain scenery are equally beautiful. Because the circuits lead through gentle terrain, they are suitable for fitness training as well as for learning the basics of this great winter sport.
